Happy new year Gaia! ^_^

Before I list my new years' resolutions, let's take a look at how well I did at keeping my new year's resolutions from last year.

Here are my resolutions from last year, taken straight from my Jan 1st, 2007 journal entry:

-38mill+ Classic
-110 mill+ Adventure
-120mill+ AllStar
-650k+ Training Mode (no BHG)
-Sub 3:10.xx 10mm
-10k+ Cruel Melee
-32k+ ft/10k+ m NBA HRC
-Maybe others

-Super Smash Bros Brawl-

-Get a wii so I can play the stupid game

-Gaia-

-Own one of every sword on Gaia before year's end
-Be the first Gaian to catch a rare fish on video and upload the video to YouTube (nobody else has caught a rare on video that I know of)

-Non Gaming-

-Read more

That's it. Now here's a quick runthrough of how well I did:

-Super Smash Bros Melee-

-38 mill+ Classic - FAILURE - I didn't play Classic much this year, so maybe 38 million was pushing it a little.
-110 mill+ Adventre - SUCCESS - Wow, that was easy.
-120 mill+ AllStar - FAILURE - I hardly even touched All-Star.
-650k+ Training Mode - FAILURE - Only missed this by 14k hits, which I can easily do. It's just a matter of sitting down and doing it.
-Sub 3:10.xx 10MM - FAILURE - Once again, it's just a matter of sitting down and doing it. There's no reason I can't get this and then some.
-10k+ CM - FAILURE - See above. I think I did fairly well as far as my non-Samus scores go, but I know I can improve.
-32k+ ft/10k+m NBA HRC - FAILURE - I can do this too, but I don't know if I want to recompile my NBA HRC vid and lose all my views unless I improve all my scores.
-Maybe others - no comment

-Super Smash Bros Brawl-

-Get a wii so I can play the stupid game - FAILURE - I was naughty again this year, so Santa didn't give me my wii. crying

-Gaia-

-Own one of every sword on Gaia before year's end - SUCCESS! - I've sold most of them, but I still owned one of every sword available at the time.
-Be the first Gaian to catch a rare fish on video - FAILURE - Just a matter of luck and time.

-Non-gaming-

-Read more - SUCCESS - A coin toss, really, but I'm going to count this one as a success. I didn't have a TON of time to read, but I still made it through several books.

Here are my new year's resolutions for this year!

-Super Smash Bros Melee-

-38 mill+ Classic - I really should be able to do this.
-115 mill+ Adventure - If I make this, I'll got for 120+ mill.
-120 mill+ All-Star - There's a couple wrs I can easily reclaim.
-Max everyone in Training Mode - High time I did this.
-Sub 3:10.xx 10MM - For real this time.
-Sub 53 min 100MM
-Reach top 5 in 15MM - note: I'd currently have to get 21,655+ KOs total to do this.
-Reach pro status in EM - note: pro is currently 30,000+ KOs.
-10+ CM - For real this time.

-F-Zero X-

-Beat all the Staff ghosts by at least one second each

-Gaia-

-Be the first Gaian to catch a rare fish on video - Just a matter of luck and time.

-Non-Gaming-

-Read more - Again. Trek likes to read, he just doesn't do it as much as he used to when he was younger.
-Get a job - A pretty lofty goal to set, as I live in (supposedly) the hardest state in the country to find a job in, and that's in an economy that's less than stellar to begin with.
