Inner most workings of a twisted teenage mind
You'll either find poems, or thoughts
Silent Valentine
Why do thy cry, my dear silent valentine?

Your tears abate the soul, wash away the pain

So does time, time for one last masquerade.

You begin to dance, let loose by the flowing fears.

slowly now, don't rush these creeping tears.

Your somber smile, your pale face.

Painted porcelain doll weeping in my arms

dusty in the lack of attention, I beg for you to let me near

Let me hold you close, please my dear no longer fear

You dance much slower now, music as dark as the night

In your silence you shout so loud, Your heart is torn, bleeding bleeding love.

I hug you close, the music slows. I move the hair from your face and smile

Your beautiful in your contentedness

You shine even in the awaiting darkness

I take you home and wash you up

your smiling face, your bright painted face.

Good as new, perhaps you'll stay

Until the darkness sweeps you back

to dance alone in the bleakness of the world

Why do thy cry, my dear silent Valentine?

Does thy still have time to dance with me?

Dance in one last melancholy masquerade.
