Life..
What is it exactly? Is it just a word? Does it have meaning.
They say that it is our time on this planet, it is different from person to person. Some say it is thanks to God. To science. On the contrary, life is just another thing to blame something on.
People seem so positive about it. Why? In our lives today and in the past there has been wars, genocide, massacres, murder. These things have ended lives which could have lasted longer. Still, people on the streets, for the most part, enjoy their lives.
If life is so grand, why do people commit suicide? Why do they try to die? Why do they commit crimes and lose their freedom?
Songwriters always talk negatively about life.
In music it is all about what life is like:
Jimi Hendrix relates it to a castle, a castle made of sand that washes away into the sea.
Johnny Cash relates it to something that sucks away your feelings away, something that takes away reality.
Pearl Jam calls it "a wish to hold on."
I don't know, I could be rambling. It could be how I feel. It could be my insanity.

Though some part of me just holds on. I just can't help but hope that one day life and my terrible luck will get better. Maybe that's what we both need to do.. Just hope for the best in life. 4laugh
