Only one them has truly lived.
True, the mind does register and believe that all that have died must have lived, for they are indeed dying, and one cannot die without first living.
But if one would look beyond the paradox and into the truth, rarely does one truly live at all. Those lies that reality does spout blinds the truth from our eyes and forces a farce into mind.
But I would counter these things that they would create, freeing my own heart to make a reality that is true and wholesome. The future is but a later event, unplanned and unknown. I do what today would have me do, and obey the tomorrow only once it comes. And as the tomorrow does never really come, I live for what is at the moment, not for what could be tomorrow. For one cannot control a ride, or it's inner workings, only hold on and hope that they do not fall off, and that they would enjoy it.
If I would not enjoy it, or fell off, I would only say that this ride I was on was not as expected and that it's turns kept me surprised.
For no human being dislikes surprises. They simply do not like being wrong.

I never think of the future - it comes soon enough. ~Albert Einstein
