Oxygen
Her dreams of perfection,
Leds her into a dark obsession.
Her anorexia downfall,
Her bulimic destruction.
Refusing to eat, crying herself to sleep
She looks so happy in people's eyes,
But when she's alone no one hears her cries.
Her dreams of perfection,
Leds her into a dark obsession.
Trying to please a cruel world
And a family that's mean,
She pukes her guts up for self esteem.
Wanting to be thin.
To be just bone and skin.
Disgusted by the girl in her reflection.
On the scales everyday,
How'd she get this way?
She just wanted to be thin,
To look like a maniquin,
She she'll survive on oxygen.
