I Battle the Cheerleader Squad
As the title says, I did battle the cheerleader squad. XD And yes I took the title from one of my favorite books, Percy Jackson and the Olympians Series. This happened to me a long time back, but I was too lazy to post it up here. Well on with the story!
My friend called me one day and asked if I could come to a football game. It was between our school and their school. (yes we are friends that go to different schools...) I asked my mom and she said yes, so we met my friend at her school, where the football game was supposed to be. So we grabbed a couple of seats(more like steps XD) and sat down. The cheerleaders were in front of us, unfortunately. And were getting on my nerves... My friend then suggested that we should get something to eat/drink. I asked my mom for money and she gave me some, only for a drink though, while my friend provided the food. When we got up to the food stand thing(forgot what it's called) my friend bought popcorn and nachos, while I bought a coke. I bet you're wondering why this is so important. Well... you see I shouldn't really have coke... Anyways, on with the story. I sat with my friend and proceeded to drink my coke. A few minutes later half the bottle was gone and the cheerleaders were still doing there... thing... I listened to their chants and heard they were putting down our team! I got so mad that I stood up and began yelling,"WILDCATS RULE!" and doing cheers of my own. I bet you're wondering why I did that. Do you recall the coke? This is probably why I should never have coke, it makes me insane... So I was yelling at the cheerleaders and then they began yelling back at me. We went back and forth yelling our team's mascot. They finally got so mad at me that they told me to go to the other side if I wanted to cheer for my team. I shut up after that... It was fun annoying the cheerleaders and all, but I couldn't exactly leave my friend, now could I? So I stayed there as quiet as possible and watched the rest of the game. In the end my team won against their team. So it's all good. 1 for me and 0 for the cheerleaders. XD
The next day I walked down the hallway to my class when I heard some people talking about the football game last night. One of them said a person was going back and forth with the cheerleaders on which team was better. Of course my face flushed. It was soooo embarrassing to hear that. Later that day when I was in technology one of the people I sit next to asked me if I was the person yelling at the cheerleaders. I grew silent and stopped typing for a moment. There was another person beside me that said"Yeah you were weren't you?" I was still silent and then they both knew it was me. The one who had mentioned it smiled and said it was funny. I still didn't talk, I was too embarrassed. After that I heard nothing more of this "Girl yells at the Cheerleader Squad" story. It was like it never even happened in the first place.
