Valhalla
After his defeat at his best friend's hands, the next thing Angelus knew he found himself standing within a great hall, full of various people, all donned with armour and weapons of some sort, and merrily singing and feasting as if they didn’t have a care in the world. Walking slowly into the hall a little, distancing himself from the entrance a little. Looking around he noted the ceiling above him looked like golden lattices scales, where countless shields had been thatched together, and spears comprised the rafters. His attention was caught as through the crowds strode a man of great stature, long white hair and a matching beard fell about him, and he wore armour of the purest looking silver, a mirror sheen to it much like the Valkyrie's, so it looked like light radiated from him, at his hips were a powerful looking axe and sword, and this was all topped off by a wolf fur cloak.

Odin moved among the crowd, as he had come to take his chosen picking his way between them and pointing out the odd few here and there, until An angel flew in, landing by the doors and pushing her way towards him. She had black hair in a bob and a long light blue kimono, to match her strangely pigmented skin, Angelus instantly recognized her as Koyuki, the one he had saved long in the past. After darting up to his side, she would grab his attention, words exchanged that were too far from him to hear, as Odin frowned and nodded, before his gaze turned up towards him, those eyes of his seeming to pierce his very soul, before he came striding towards Angelus, standing easily 8 feet tall.

“A new arrival eh? I must say others have said it was a good day to die, but no one could have said that truer than today, even some heads were turned up here by your struggle. Of course I know of your previous work too, the young seraph here tells me you helped her, and she owes you a great debt, sshe may not be of our Valkyries but I shall consider. First however there will need to be something to cause us to be indebted to you.

What say you, Einherjar?”

Angelus kept his jaw well set as he looked back up at Odin’s gaze, he did not wish to seem too fearful before the god, but also did not deem it right to show defiance.

“I was not expecting respite or aid if it was truly my time to reside within these halls, i fought my hardest today but it came through in the end I couldn't stop him, but if I could have another chance i would make sure i did this time.”

Odin chuckled, slapping his thigh, before he narrowed his eyes and locked them upon him.

“I know you have served the spirit of battle and the hammer for a great many years, and your father a faithful follower of my son before you. We of he Aesir will give you a respite from death, but first you must carry out the task that would make us have a debt to pay, more precisely Thor.

Go to him and he shall explain the rest.”

Odin then turned and continued on his rounds, as Koyuki approached.

“Greetings Angelus, I was sorry to see your last battle's outcome, no one should have their hand forced against a friend.”

He looked surprised at this.

“You were there? I must thank you for what you have done here, I cannot leave things as they are now, and I would not have this chance if it were not for you.”

Smiling she bowed her head lightly
“And I would not be alive still today if not for you, so it was the least I could do.
I must go, but good luck in your task”

She bowed and hurriedly turned, leaving Valhalla and the realm of Asgard.

Gazing across the hall, he saw the exit he needed, as a large icon of Mjolnir hung above the door. Making his way across, and pushing through the gigantic doors, he came to the halls of Thor, where the red-haired man stood at the head of a table, in discussion with someone.

He was just as imposing as his father, but his main characteristics were a large ornate winged helmet, gauntlets, and belt, though the fabled hammer was missing. The man beside him was smaller, but still large by human standards. He held a spear in one hand, while the other was missing completely at the wrist. As Angelus approached the One handed man nodded and left, giving him a sideways glance as he went

"Einherjar! Angelus, Congratulations on dying a noble death!"

Thor's voice boomed throughout the room, the powerful man had a powerful set of lungs.

"I thank you part of me cans till hardly believe where i am, though the Allfather tells me there is something I can do to help?"

Turning, the large god would stride towards a chair and sit in it, leaning on the arm and then forming a fist beneath his chin.

"In all my time in my forge I have worked every metal known to man, and all those unknown too, except one.

Due to its nature and location I have never been able to get a good ore sample to work, you may be able to bring me this, but it will not be a light task at all, that is why doing it will be enough of a debt for what you wish."

"Whatever it is i will do it. I have to save my friend from himself, even if it means my ultimate destruction."

"Well your first task will be to train then, increase your strength for as long as you need or can, for you will need it where you are headed.

The ore I seek is from the main seed vein of Sacralidium, which I am sure you have encountered before, as well as an impure form within your friend's golden armour.

This vein where it was seeded can be found deep within hell, likely where he picked up the taint in his armour too, though not from the seed vein. You have been given permission of entry by the higher planes, but you will still be unwelcome there, and will have to fight your way to the ore.

Sacralidium is also parasitic, any metal you take will be almost instantly corrupted when it comes into contact, so be wary.

Now go train!"

Angelus bowed, turning and heading to the near constant battleground that was this plain of Asgard.
