The weather this winter seems more unpredictable than those before. It's been warming up the passed few days and most of the snow has melted away, leaving deep ruts in the dirt road leading up to the house. Our supply of wood is running low and if we don't get more soon, our fire could die. My supply of coffee was running low so I want to the captain to see if there were any more supplies ready to come in and she passed me a fresh can. So far, this has been the most bearable winter day to date.
