(Getting exciting isn't it?)

The fox froze in fright at the sight of the man. He didn't quite realize the trouble he was in. He was trying to slowly back up. The man raised his gun. The wolf looked up and saw his new owner. He was about to kill his old friend. The wolf jerked about trying to free himself from his chain. The links broke as a gunshot went off. The wolf ran straight towards the man and clamped on to his throat.
The wolf let go and darted to his friend. The man fell to the ground grasping at his neck. The fox was wiggling his way out from under the chicken coops. One of his back legs was bleeding. The wolf walked with him as they continued to escape to the forest. The fox was lagging behind as he limped from his injury.
