The Powers:
Thermokinesis: The superhuman ability to lower his external and internal body temperature, projecting intense coldness from his body. Like any normal human being's, the nerve centers for regulating the his body temperature are found in the part of the brain called the hypothalamus. However, Chris can mentally override his hypothalamus to allow his body temperature to be lowered by an unknown internal mechanism. This ability converts the latent thermal energies in and around his body into an unknown form of energy that is efficiently dissipated. A related mutation has rendered his body tissues unaffected by sub-zero temperatures. Chris can consciously, immediately lower his body temperature from its normal 98.6 Fahrenheit to that of -105.7 F within the span of a few tenths of a second.
As his body temperature falls, the surrounding moisture in the air that is in contact with him is similarly lowered. Just as condensed moisture forms frost, this moisture forms an icy covering which encompasses his entire body. It also obscures his facial features. He learned to increase the severity of his coldness, the covering assumed the consistency of crystalline ice that it has today. This ice constantly cracks with any movement of his body, and immediately reforms. (Hence, there is a cracking sound when Chris, covered with ice, moves.)
Thermal Vision:
Cryokinesis: Chris can use this ability to freeze any local air moisture into super-hard ice. This ice can be formed into any object of his choosing: the only limitations are his own imagination, his skill as a sculptor, the amount of available moisture, and the ambient air temperature which determines how long his ice sculpture will stay icy. He does not have to hold the ice physically with his hands in order to shape it. Apparently he can simply direct the waves of coldness he projects in certain ways so as to create ice in the shape he desires.
Chris is able to form a rising column of ice beneath his feet, capable of lifting him off the ground. The tensile strength of the column is determined by its thickness, and its steadiness by how well it has been braced. A well-braced and regular column, 6 feet in diameter at its base, is able to support his weight without toppling for about 85 feet in a 40-mile per hour wind. By forming long ice-ramps connected either to his ice-column or to an existing structure like a building or a bridge, Chris is able to travel above the ground by sliding down the ramp he is creating. Unless he creates supports periodically, the ramp will crack beneath him, unable to support their combined weight.
Organic-Ice Form:
Hydrokinesis: Most recently Chris has learned to use surrounding moisture to augment himself, and to function as frozen water will allow him to travel within large bodies of the substance almost instantly. It is accomplished by breaking himself down to his most base levels and reforming at the destination. He will also be able to convert his body to gigantic proportions through absorption of a lake or pond or even a swimming pool. Wherever there is water, Chris is a threat. Chris also has the ability to freeze water vapor around him which allows him to grow to gigantic proportions. One side effect of this is he gains superhuman strength to match his superhuman size.

When Chris uses his atmo-psionic powers, he sees the world as colorful, constantly changing energy patterns, rather than solid matter. These energy patterns can be "molded" to Chris' will to create a vast number of effects which mainly deal with weather manipulation. Chris is greatly in tune with nature and the elements. He can feel them, and likewise they react to his emotional state. He can manipulate weather patterns on a variety of scales, including the ability to summon large and violent thunderstorms and blizzards, as well as sleet and hail.
He has the ability to fly by gliding on wind currents. He can also move objects or other people with the wind or create a dome of air pressure to deflect attacks. Chris' powers grant him the ability to fly as high as the atmosphere can be stretched by using his mastery over wind. He can even carry other people with him. Chris can also use the weather as a weapon. He can summon lightning bolts from the sky that can be used to blind, stun, or severely burn his opponents, even to the point of death. He can also use this ability as a concussive force.
When using his powers, Chris becomes one with the energy patterns he manipulates. This gives him the ability to project weather effects through his body. For instance, he can generate lightning, intense cold, and intense heat, from his hands rather than from his actual atmosphere. His power over thunder has been used to create deafening sounds for distracting his enemies. He can create powerful tornadoes, hurricanes, and various winds that are capable of moving a vast number of objects/people including levitating an entire building. His ability over water and it's forms has been shown by him creating heavy rainfall. Control over moisture and temperature allows Chris to freeze/flash freeze objects and people in the blink of an eye.
He can also generate heat as strong as the earth allows. Chris can control the weather vocally too. On several occasions he has spoken to the weather like a general to his army and the weather obeys. Chris' powers change when he enters a different planet or dimension. In deep space, if close to a star, he can manipulate solar winds. If far from a star, it would take strong concentration to use this power, so, he can almost always depend on his lightning wherever he goes. Chris' ability to adapt to his environment isn't limited to large bodies of water either, as he has manipulated ocean currents similarly to how he manipulates the wind. He can summon clouds and fog to provide cover and obscure the view of his enemies.
Chris may have more to his power arsenal than he shows, as he not only generated unnatural pressure on earth, but also manipulated (and intensified) plasma while in the earth's atmosphere.
He seems unaffected by the weather, including lightning and temperature. While in the past, Chris has been attacked with (and harmed) by lightning/electric blasts he hasn't created himself, and almost overheated him due to trying to adjust to violent weather, it appears that the more experienced he gets, the less the weather seems to harm him, both indirectly, and directly. This is further shown by him being able to reverse/counter electrically based attacks.
Planet-Link:
He can create weather effects within indoor areas or within artificially maintained environments: for example he could create an indoor rainstorm. He can create weather effects over very small areas.
Magnetokinesis: The power to channel and manipulate magnetic fields that exist naturally or artificially. Chris' power is, for all practical purposes, limitless. He can maintain total control of an entire planet's electromagnetic field and manipulate it accordingly. Chris has harnessed magnetism to stop armies, destroy weaponry, and deflect against Magneto, himself. He can use his magnetic powers in more than one way simultaneously. He can completely assemble a complicated machine within seconds through his powers. It is unclear, however, whether he must draw magnetic force from outside himself (if so, then he can do so over vast distances), or whether he can also generate magnetic force from within himself. Nor is it clear whether Chris' power is psionic or purely physiological in nature.
Magnetic Force-Fields: Chris can protect himself with a personal force field that he can quickly expand to protect large areas. His force field can withstand the effects of multiple nuclear weapons, volcanic eruptions, the depths of space and attacks from multiple super humans.
Magnetic Flight: Chris is also capable of sustaining flight for very long distances and at varying speeds. He apparently has several means by which he achieves flight, one of which is by gliding along the planet's natural magnetic lines of force, another by simply creating a repulsive force between himself and the planet, propelling himself thusly. By using his magnetic powers, Chris can virtually travel at trans-light speeds; however, in order to travel in space, Chris also requires his force field to breathe.
Electromagnetic Sight: By concentrating, Chris can perceive the world around himself as patterns of magnetic and electrical energy. He can perceive the natural magnetic auras surrounding living beings.
Metallic Bonding: Chris has recently presented the power to atomically bond metallic substances to any designated surface material. This newly developed technique allows Chris to blend metallic alloys with the earth, water, and air.
Organic Iron Manipulation: Chris can control the traces of iron within organic matter, which allows him to have full control over an opponent's body. He can manipulate the iron-enriched blood-flow to one's brain to induce aneurysms or unconsciousness, alter thoughts and perceptions, or blank a person's mind completely. He can even remove ferrous compounds from the bloodstream entirely through a person's skin.
Geomagnetic Link: Chris is tied very closely to the Planet's Electromagnetic Field. As is it effected, so is he. He knows instinctively all that happens to it, and with this link, is granted an odd sort of immortality. The Planet lends him strength by it's simple existence. He draws on it all unconsciously.
Superhuman Strength: Under normal conditions, Chris possesses the physical strength of a well conditioned athlete. However, he can channel vast amounts of magnetic energy through his body for the purpose of granting himself vast superhuman strength of undefined limits. Whatever those limits might be, he is ultimately able to lift far in excess of 100 tons.
Superhuman Stamina: As a result of increasing his strength, he dramatically increases the overall efficiency of his musculature. While magnetically enhanced, his muscles produce considerably less fatigue toxins during physical activity than the musculature of a normal human. At his peak, Chris can exert himself physically for up to 24 hours before the build up of fatigue toxins in his blood starts to impair him.
Electromagnetic Spectrum Manipulation: Although Chris' uses magnetism mainly out of this set, he has some ability to project or manipulate any form of energy that is related to the electromagnetic spectrum. He can fire and absorb bolts of electricity and magnetic force, reverse lasers and other forms of radiation or energy, create enough intense heat as infrared radiation to level a city, and become invisible by deflecting visible light around his body. Infrared radiation is part of the electromagnetic spectrum, which also includes visible light, radio waves, ultraviolet light, gamma rays and x-rays -- Chris can project any of these.
