When I open my eyes he's there
Then I realize the pain is gone
Almost gone
My throat burned like I'd never drunk before
But for the first time I didn't want water
I wanted... needed something warm
I needed blood
Then the angel spoke
"Oh it worked hi uh my name's Shia"
so thirsty I must be dying
"you probably have a few questions"
I finally speak one word
"blood"
My voice surprises me
It's different then I remember
It's higher and more musical
Even though my throat i dry that one word sounds beautiful
He looked down at me with a startled expression
"Oh well i'll explain it later"
He reached out his hand to help me up
But when I took it I pulled him to the ground instead
"Oh wow your strong"
he stood up
I slowly got up and looked around
Every thing looked different, clearer
He ran out the door moving faster than I thought ever possible
To my surprise i caught up with him
With in a few seconds i passed him
I love how it felt
I was so free so relaxed
Suddenly realization hit me
I stopped running
He was by my side in an instant
"Kizzy"
Slowly I turned to stare at him
"I'm a vampire aren't I"
And slowly he nodded
