Young Shoren Dausa at the age of fifteen Shoren had left his family. His departure was not caused by much more than a need to prove himself. Once he decided he had enough money to survive he left the leather shop in which he had been apprenticing. Despite the wishes of his mother and the warnings of his father he made up his mind to leave. His travels made him into a will-rounded man. Due to a loving up bringing he had become a very pleasant and accepting individual.
After three years on the road he met a beautiful young girl. Her stepfather had left her in the street after a brutal beating. Shoren used what little money to help the girl. She was taken in by his generosity and hard working spirit. Nearly broke Shoren due to his kind heart had to take on odd jobs in a neighboring town to support himself for his journey. Little did he know that the strange girl had followed him a crossed the countryside. When he caught on a love affair began to blossom. He would leave things for he to find and the little game soon lead him to discovering her name. She was a graceful beauty with raven dark hair and deep wanting eyes. She was but a few years younger than him. Poor Shoren did not know what to do with her. His journey would surly be a dangerous one. The boy hadn’t even had a girlfriend. Yet he was inescapably bound to the in chanting young girl he nursed from out of a puddle. Celice Serai she had called herself. Despite all efforts Shoren allowed Celice to grow closer and closer to his heart. Tell the very moment she walked along side him on his search for meaning in his life. After a while the search became more about finding a place to settle down than proving his worth. With in two years they had become Shoren and Celice Dausa.
Life took a horrible turn when Shoren had received word that his mother had fallen ill. Shoren and Celice decided seeing his mother for the last time took utmost importance. They then followed the footsteps they once took years ago. All though the creatures and beasts where very deadly in those parts there love kept them strong. Still miles away from Shoren’s hometown they made camp for the night. That was the last night Shoren saw his wife alive. A horrible beast had coxed her away from her loving husband in the middle of the night. The next morning Shoren had woken up to find her missing. Bewildered frightened he hoped that she had went on ahead to meet his family. In any case if some one abducted her he could find information in the closest town. When he returned to the town of his birth he ran to his parents place only to see that no one he knew was to be found there. He made his way to the local magistrate where his father held a position. Shoren there found out that his father was called to kingdom about urgent matters. He pleaded with the clerks to help him for his wife was taken and his mother gone ill. They where unmoved for a string of vampire attacks had lead to a disappearance of many people. They then advised him to wait for every thing to settle down before looking for his wife.
Shoren was shocked and out ragged grab the nearest weapon and went into town to find someone who could give him some answers. Luckily he happened to find a crypt where a recently turned vampire has been seeking refuge. The very little information he had learned lead Shoren of a crusade to find his wife. On his travels he met some people that where willing to pay him for protection while he was on the hunt. Shoren never told anyone that he thought the vampires had turned his wife. Many more people from all walks of life where taken in by his quest and helped him in his efforts while full filling there own needs. His pursuits lead him to some of the greatest evils the world had ever seen.
Five years Shoren had not seen his wife. He searched interrogated and destroyed every foul being in his way. Should he have never see his beloved again he’d dedicated his life to there eradication. He kept going even when the other adventures had long left him. Soon enough he was able to found a guild that would help him do it. The names of the Guild members struck fear into the children of the night and the demons that spawned them. Not long after the order had been formed a very unholy meeting was to take place. Demons had taken notice of the actions of the order and grew tired of them. They had come to strike a deal with Shoren. In exchange for their people to be left alone they would give him his wife and his mother. Right then and there he had learned that his mother had been changed may years earlier. She had been watching her son during his life on the road she also been the one who had turned his wife into a vampire.
The reunion was quite cold and bitter. The vampire females where bound by the princes of darkness to obey him. Though they cared very little of the heartache he had all those years.
A fraction of love still resided in Celice’s heart and Because of that love he was able to convince her that she needed to be transformed back. His mother had not felt the same. She had no love for her son and cared little of being human again. All though this empty shell still looked like his mother he could not allow this beast to live another day. So he trapped her and took her to a priest so that they can dispose of her in the way god would have it. Shoren then pulled all his resources to and equity into cash so that he could pay for the chance to make his wife human again. Unfortunately the process evolved killing her and praying for god to grant them a miracle. A very holy man said that the technique was only a theory and he had never seen it preformed before. The choice is up to the soul. For every soul is allowed to see heaven before they are resurrected. It was quite possible for her to wish to stay and not come home to there loved ones. Shoren had to deal the killing blow before the service would commence. He asked the priest to do him a favor and keep her busy as he preformed the deed. When it was accomplished he fell to the floor and with tears welling up in his eyes he prayed. He prayed for forgiveness he prayed for his wife’s soul and above all else he prayed to god to bring her back to him.
