It is a fan made one still in the Beta, with more than it's fair share of glitches, but all in all it is working.
Some of the cool things that have been added into this installment are:
You can challenge any player who is online to a battle in real time.
You can travel throughout most of the Pokemon Universe, although the Orange Islands have yet to be added.
They have added unique maps that aren't in any other Pokemon game.
You can create Guilds for your friends to conglomerate in.
Soon you will actually be able to change your avitar's appearance.
Things that are wrong with the game are as follows:
Although this MMO let's you travel throughout most of the
Pokemon universe, some places have still as of yet been added or working properly. Like Diglett cave for the moment is non-existent.
Dual element pokemon haven't been included. For now pokemon such as Geodude, who is both Rock and Ground, is now for the moment only Rock.
Status altering moves are for the moment "disabled" (Most don't work at all, one's like harden work, but a lot of the others are disabled, for lack of a better word.)
There is no MP/SP bar in play at the moment, and as such there is no limit to how many times you can use an attack.
The glitch(es) that are/is affecting most of the players are as follows:
Pokemon change Bug : What happens is your pokemon, usually your strongest, will get changed to your weakest or the one that most recently evolved. It happens either when your game crashes and you log back in, or when you leave the game and log in later your pokemon have been changed. Their are over 160 pages of this incident posted on the forums for the game.
