She is a math wiz. He barely has a passing grade in math.

She cares about her grades, he cares about what he's doing over the weekend with his boys.

That's how it started. Their teacher told her to help him. she accepted and met him after school on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

She started and was quiet. She let him do as he pleased for the first 10 minutes. Let him mess around get rid of all his out bursts that would probably happen later on. Then she asked him, in her soft voice to be quiet.

Surprisingly, he knew how to do all the problems, he just didn't want to do the work.

she let him leave after 30 minutes. He left but she stayed behind for a few minutes more, finishing her own homework. Then she got up and left as well.

She walked through the parking lot about to walk home, whens he saw him by a red Mercedes.

He stopped her before she passed his car and asked her if she needed a ride. She looked at him and nodded shyly.

After many months of tutoring, the teacher said they could stop. So they did.

But every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday she was in the library finishing her homework.

On those days, he would be waiting for her in the parking lot.

One day she asked him why he waited for her. And he replied,

"Because I love you"
