For years, I searched for someone to fill the void I felt in my heart. I felt alone, rejected by the world and all its inhabitance. I wanted someone who would care for me, love me, hold me when I was scared or upset, protect me and defend my honor. I thought I needed a man for that. I thought that a mere mortal could heal my broken heart and peice back together my shattered life. I searched and searched for that perfect man, the one who would come and sweep me off my feet and kiss me in the rain and hold me till the sun set. I wanted that hollywood romance, the fairytale, the storybook ending. I wanted fiction!!
But I found truth....
