Is It Possible to Live Without Anime or Manga?
Hey there everyone. It's Shigune here, I now have 20k! WOOT WOOT! Okay, here was a question a friend of mine today asked on the Gaia forums. Is it possible to live without Anime or Manga?

Just think of it this way for a second: name someone, friend or family who does not watch anime. I bet you that at least one of your parents watches anime (one of mine did and my bro does too). I have many friends (not to brag or anything, and besides, everyone has at least 10 friends or more) and most of them watch anime.

Now look at it like this: is it possible to live without anime or manga? It's a trick question that not even a mathemetician cannot solve. Ever. For most people, I think you cannot live without anime. Why? People are so into watching new shows each day that passes by that once they are into watching this anime, they won't be able to break their addiction to that show.

Just think of it like this: anime is like a safer version of crack or heroin (hopefully none of you do those drugs > sad ); once you start to watch it, you will never stop, and it will probably turn your brain into hamburger meat.

You could probably live without manga, but not without anime, hee hee.

Oooh! A distraction.
Where?!!!!
From the random weird on this site, Shigune...

Well, I know my parents don't watch anime or read manga, but almost everyone else I know (except for my older relatives) watches or has watched some sort of anime. Could I live without anime or manga? I don't know. I play Pokemon cards and some games and I watch Pokemon (I like the older ones better, but the new ones are sometimes good too). I was reading some manga like Naruto (NOTE: Only the Naruto MANGA, can't stand the show), I finished Gundam Seed Mobile Suit (Need to read Destiny now), I was reading some Megaman X manga (which surprised me by actually being good, I friggin' HATE the games, they're stupid), some of the Archie Sonic the Hedgehog comics are animeish (the newer ones scream anime overload, but the older ones are cool in that they look like Sonic SatAM with a touch of anime), I started to read Dragonball and Dr. Slump, but they were a bit too vulgar for me. Back to TV shows. I like Cowboy bebop, Sonic X kinda counts as anime, but I prefer Sonic SatAM to it ( SatAM isn't really anime though), I like avatar the last Airbender, that's also in the kind anime region too, and the bits of Ghost in the Shell I've seen have been awesome. There's some anime I probably forgot to list here, but o well. On this one website that's one of the most hilarious websites I've ever seen, they have a bit of poking fun at anime. It's totally awesome. Go to that one journal entry of mine that says Strong Ba followed by a bunch of gibberish, then copy and paste the link into that address bar and watch that. then wander around that site you'll probably come across some anime stuff. By the way, the thing the link takes you to is where people e-mail this guy called Strong Bad, he's kinda the star of the site, and they ask him questions. And don't be alarmed when stuff pops up during that e-mail, it's part of the video. (Unless if it's Webroot or whatever security you have, then you have issues).

So sorry 'bout the long comment, I could go on forever, but I'm tired of typing and I apologize in advance for any typos or long things that make no sense. I do my best to avoid those. So, go and look at the journal entry I told you about, and enjoy the video, and the site. And in the list of e-mails, the oldest stuff is at the bottom, so you can start there. And yes, some aren't that good, but there are some pretty funny ones.
