What I'm Made Of!
This was the song... that she would sing.

She made her way onto the stage, the bard positioning herself in the center, no microphone in hand, the music cued up. And she reached her hands out wide.

"I don't care to what your thinking as you turn to me
Cuz what I have in my two hands is enough to set me free (set me free)"

Nothing was there, but the magic, the music, the beat and rhythm she knew and loved. The stage and the audience in front of her, whoever it was. It was all she needed to show who she was and what she could do. It flared to life, the song she sang. She came alive when she sang, her music was her life.

I can fight the feelin' to resist it all the time
But when its just too much to take you sneak up from behind

She'd longed to sing for so long, and now, finally, would sing this song and show what she was made of. She wasn't afraid of anything, not so long as she had the music. She couldn't be afraid, who else would write the stories and songs?

Is it me? You say, you're looking for?
Let me show you who I am and what I'm here for (here for)

She pointed out towards the crowd as she tilted her head to the song, her hips started to move to the beat. She stepped to the left, to the right, finding a dance, a beat, a rhythm to follow.

"Heaaay!

Try to reach inside of me!
Try to take my energy!"

She wagged her finger at the crowd a teasing gesture that they couldn't touch. Her energy was her own and she would like to keep it that way. The colored hues of the magic rose off the stage and touched the edges of the room, spreading out and across, encompassing all who dared to listen to her song, captivating and brilliant.

"Let me show you just what I'm made of
Simple curiosity, trying to take a bite of me"

She'd take on a challenge if she thought she could do it, some she couldn't. Her curiosity was/would lead her down many paths...some exciting, some scary, some both. She might not be wise, but she knew how to survive.

"Let me show you just what I'm made of now...

Like a million faces, I've reckonized them all
And one by one they've all become a number as they fall (as they fall)"

She was using the whole stage now, singing and dancing, moving from side to side, the twirling of her skirt, the bumping of her hips, her head tilting from one side to another, hands moving and flowing with the beat. The magic took shapes and forms, dancing figures moving across the room.

"In the face of reason, I can take no more
One by one they've all become the black mark on the floor"

There was no reason to her magic, nothing but her own power. And it was her power alone, the powers of a bard. She was letting herself go, lost in the song and music.

"Is it me? You say, you're looking for?
Let me show you who I am and what I have in store (in store)
Hey! Hey! Yeah!"

There was more to her than met the eye, though she was into song, she could fight too, or help others to fight. There was no escape for who she was, what she was. She was the music, and once it left, so did she. Follow the song and that would lead her on her journey.

"Try to reach inside of me!
Try to take my energy!"

She twirled around again, letting loose more energy and heat into the room. People should join her, join the dance. Some came into the isles and started to dance, even if it wasn't very good. The energy gathered and heightened.

"Let me show you just what I'm made of
Simple curiosity, trying to take a bite of me"

She made a gesture with her hands, telling anyone who dare come against her music to bring it. She was going to feel exhausted after this was done, she could sense that.

Let me show you just what I'm made of now...

In the center of the stage, arms outstretched she looked into the lights and sang as loud as she could.

"You can take another life-long try
You can take another try!"

"Yeaaah!"

The music at its highest, and her voice at its loudest she sang like the bard she was meant to be. The magic collected and swirled around her, her hips continuing to move to the beat.

"Try to reach inside of me!
Try to take my energy!

Let me show you just what I'm made of
Simple curiosity, trying to take a bite of me"

She'd be just fine.

"Let me show you just what I'm made of now..."

Song done, the people returned to their seats, the magic fading, them wondering why they had the urge to dance. Chris smiled, a small slow smile, she made her way off stage to the backroom before she collapsed on a couch in joy. The stage, the place she belonged.
