love is a gift
its a cure
its a wish
an when we have it
its like the world has stopped
we have found them
the one to hold us at night
if we get scared, to hold our hand
the one to keep us company
the one to love us
the one to spend our life with
the one we love and adore
but then,
when we least expect it
the one to hold us at night
if we get scared, to hold our hand
the one to keep us company
the one to love us
the one to spend our life with
and the one we love and adore
will be no more
there comes that time,
where things on their side,
seems to be different from yours
no matter how much you love them,
they just feel its not right
so what do we do?
with our broken hearts
that have felt they have loved someone
the one to hold us at night
if we get scared, to hold our hand
the one to keep us company
the one to love us
the one to spend our life with
the one we love and adore
we felt we had them
but all we seem to do
is laugh
a laugh makes it better
that one laugh is what keeps us going
a friend to be funny
a story to make a joke of
memories that are an "inside" joke
and most of all,
we laugh,
at the memories we had of our relationship
because even though we didnt think it
we knew we would laugh about it someday
thing to ourselves,
yeah, it was unreal
so now, we laugh
and we know,
we will find that special one,
the one to hold us at night
if we get scared, to hold our hand
the one to keep us company
the one to love us
the one to spend our life with
the one we love and adore
and finally... the one we can love AND laugh with,
yeah, we will find them...
