a lot of thoughts I feel like writing down.
man made global warming is stupid...
first off I would like to say that the quiz was stupid, it was just showing how bias Gaia is politically. it's one thing when a ratio, or T.V. talk show is, but a forum developed for social interaction as a whole which was not meant to aim at one group, should not do so. if it was an individual on a thread i would not be bothered because that's an opinion being stated by freedom of speech. though what Gaia did is also technically freedom of speech it was stated as the thought of the Gaia staff as a whole.

My rant on the forum:
Yay Gaia is being ironic again! *face palms* you would think that Gaia if they really wanted to "Go green" would turn off the sight for a day as to save electricity, and stop people from wasting it. another problem I have with this is that our planet is very durable, there are few things we can do that can actually damage it, other than to launch nuclear weapons all over the place. "green house gas" does not cause damage to the environment. CO2 is what plants use to live. the planet's atmosphere used to be made of approximately 80% CO2, guess what was thriving? Plants. our atmosphere hardly even has any carbon, it only is made of 0.038% carbon, if that was a football field, that's not even near the first yard line. more food for thought on that is that this year had a much longer span in it's cold seasons, Global warming? I think not. not to mention that the hottest year recently was before cars even existed.

The only problems humanity has to worry about is oil spills, and conserving the rain forests. most of our oxygen comes from the ocean, the next in the list is rain forests. algae creates oxygen, then gathers the carbon into it's body as sugars, which the algae get eaten by fish, or sinks to the bottom of the ocean. the earth has carbon cycles just as it has water cycles, and energy cycles. ( energy transferred by organisms to another, but that's a different rant. ) point being is that carbon levels are not something to be concerned about, the only problems people should be worrying about when it comes to the environment is conserving the wildlife, avoiding the use of non decomposing substances, and recyclable substances that can be recycled.

Well, the ice age comes after Global Warming if it ends up being true. Which is cool.
Except, less CO2 and what not.
The world is annoying.
