~Captive's Log-Star date-0182-9: As I update my logbook as the clock ticks by, I feel I should record this new threat to galactic unity in hopes that it might aid some untouched planetary civilization~
-It all started about nine days ago, I can only surmise this as I have been given a meager meal of rations twice a day. Our ship's scanners picked up a distress signal from a nearby belt of asteroids and changed course in order to investigate-
-What happened next is...hazy at best, the distress beacon was a trap. The debris surrounding us in the belt revealed themselves as a highly coordinated attack force perfectly designed to disable our ship's movement and offensive capabilities, leaving us with little more than life support before invading-
-I have no way of knowing just how many of us were taken on board the enemy flagship, presumably as hostages in another planetary conflict. The crew of this enemy vessel is a mystery, the only beings I have seen in this time have been a pale humanoid dressed in the ship's colors and for some reason I cannot fathom- the commander and leader of the attack on our own ship came to speak with me. I suspect hes done the same for the other captives as he knew far too much about our voyage not to-
*The recording device spews forth a loud static noise before a metallic voice comes through*
-???-Star Date ???: Final log, acquired subjects have proven to be a wealth of information on the current state of the galaxy. The exile of my crew to that accursed belt of rock and rubble shall be paid back ten-fold upon the new Interplanetary Union. As eager as I am to continue my end game, I must reestablish contact with the constructs I have left hidden in what the inhabitants of one planet call the Milky Way. I am sending this device ahead of my own forces to herald the arrival of my fleet as their own electrical signature is near unnoticeable. Truly one of the most backwater solar systems as the inhabitants have yet to travel across their own orbital system, let alone discover what lies below the very surface of the planet they call home -Earth-
*The recording ends here before a small light pulses a slowly strengthening sound*
