The seconds tick by as I listen to your hurtful harsh words
I sit quietly holding back tears
Your voice screaming
Echoing in my head
Pounding in my ears
Fury building in my eyes
In my soul
Slowly tearing the remaining pieces of my heart
You leave not knowing the imense impact of destruction
I stay
Not moving
Crying my last of tears
I trace the lining on the dagger
Praying for a better life..
