CHAMP Math Olympiad = Epic Failure.
It was horrid.
By the way, each team consists of 4 students. One grade 7 boy, one grade 7 girl, one grade 8 boy, and one grade 8 girl.
There were four events:
1. Grade pair event (so the grade sevens work together and the grade eights work together)
2. Individual event
3. Opposite grade pair event (girls work together, guys work together)
4. Entire team event.
We came in tenth place.
How disgraceful.
Every year, our school's teams always comes in either first, second, or third.
And we totally killed the streak.
At least my team got the highest rank.
One team got 11.
One team came in 19th. Omagawd. gonk
The grade 8 guy in my team is extremely smart. But apparently he was "too lazy to do the questions". His intelligence is a waste.
We got free rice krispy squares there x3
And our coaches treated us to lunch. We had pizza and timbits. I doubt you guys know what timbits are. Basically, the Canadian version of starbucks is Tim Hortons, and they sell these mini donut-like things called timbits. Mmm...
