Wolverine
Squirrel took me to see Wolverine. Clearly someone in the casting department had an eye for good looking men tailored to a variety of tastes. This is rare in media. Generally you get one dominant look like in Star Trek DS9, one good looking male lead, or no real eye candy at all. Here there was something for most tastes. It's pretty much a sausage fest though, as the female lead exists as a prop and the other female character is a plot devise, with acting of about the quality you'd expect. I suspect from a marketting perspective, they thought, "Straight guys are coming to watch Wolverine fight people, let's toss something in for the androphilic to widen the audience. I know, sexy, sexy men and lots of Hugh Jackmen flesh." Speaking of Hugh Jackman's sexiness, I was staring up at his giant face looming over me on the big screen (We were near tthe front), and I was thinking that part of his attracting is how expressive his face is, especially when he does something that deepens the wrinkles. there's so much character there. I found myself thinking how inexpressive so many stars faces are these days because of botox. I just find natural aging so much more attractive than botox freeze. I know it's meant to make them look younger, but they always look like slightly bloated stroke victims to me, which my brain reads as old and ill.
