Lord Driadem When the world was still black, there was no man, only mages of the seven lords. The lords each had an element, fire, darkness, water, light, earth, soul, and wind. At that time the world was in chaos. All powers were thought to forever be locked in combat. The head mages of each lord got together in the Fourth Tower to discuss the fight. They eventually came up with the idea to rid the world of these powers. The only problem with this was that it would kill the seven mages. This frightened the follower of Lord Sacro. He told his lord and was given a spell to stop this curse they were to bestow on the world. On the day of the incantation, the seven mages arrived back at the Fourth Tower. The six stood at the top of the tower chanting the spell as the seventh tried to counteract it. When the counter spell had finished, Sacros minion stepped back. The true spell was finished and a bright light enveloped the earth. In a moment the world was leveled and all life was lost. After a few million years, the spell Lord Sacro had taught his mage had come into effect. A few living creatures were reborn. Over time the world was once again like it was, but without the powers of the ancient ones. There were, however, seven children born imbedded with the powers of the lords. Though early on there was no indication of these powers, with time these powers became well known and shunned. These people were called witches and warlocks, forever cursed to be away from their family and the rest of society. Some grew bitter of the humans and others wished to help the mortals. During the years after the end of the Dark Ages the powers were again lost. Every few decades the powers would resurface. Though usually these cases go unnoticed, there are some who are… unable to keep these powers quiet. With the recent times the powers are more common, and more accepted by the public, so few have a reason to hide them. Now all seven have resurfaced, and we fear the errors of our past will return…
