After following for awhile, the beast had turned into a room that was at the very end of the hallway. I surely havent read anything about following and hunting down beasts in the detective series..

once I had walked into the room it was almost completly dark. the only lighting I could see was comeing from the window which was covered halfway by curtains. just then I could hear rustleing a few feet away from me I looked to my left and seen dark shadows moveing across the floor. from what I could see there were four of them and they were all closeing in on me...
