I got my first guitar today! Only took me 10 years to convince my parents I was serious about playing, but I did it! It's a beautiful black Fender Stratocast with a black/white body and maple neck. I've already played my left fingers raw and I haven't even had it for a day! mrgreen heart

Anywho, it's my early Christmas/Birthday present so I figured while I and my raw fingers are in the holiday spirit, I might as well post a holiday update.

Because I was without wacom for a week, I'm a little behind schedule from what I was originally aiming for. Fortunately my holiday event thread has started out just fine, artwork and all, and my other projects that have been caught up are still doing okay. I'm no further behind that I was - just not catching up as fast as I was intending to. Finals are this week, so I'm giving myself time off from gaian deadlines just until finals are finished, which is Thurs-Fri. All work will be done for sure before I go back to school though, which is sometime in early january.

Yep, I get a whole month off! Which is fantastic because I get to catch up with online projects, but also personal projects as well. I'll be finishing IAOAL (I hope), working out regularly to get my abs back from my pre-surgery days, watching my many seasons of unwatched anime, catching up on all of my manga and other readings like Lovecraft and Harry Potter, getting up some half-worked-on fanart, writing music for myself (not intended for class like IAOAL), etc. Lots of things to do, as well as learn how to play guitar as quickly as possible. 4laugh
