what are the thoughts of a college student? well just read and you'll find out!
lazy sunday birthday!
no, nothing really related to the snl digital sketch. but i do love that sketch. anyway, today is sunday and for some reason i feel really energetic and that i didn't want to really do anything.

i'm at home with my family; my mom and my aunt are watching citizen pinoy and my dad's asleep and i'm waiting till i can get some japanese food. YEA! while my mom was watching citizen pinoy, i was watching tokyo kawaii tv and the current topic was nails. don't get me wrong i love watching gma and tfc but..citizen pinoy..it's just really depressing and at the same time it's kinda repetitive.

for those who don't know: citizen pinoy is about filipino americans and the topic of immigration which also includes a forum with questions from the audiences to an american lawyer regarding immigration.

but i was enjoying watching the nails episode on tokyo kawaii tv, i love seeing the variety of nails that are available in japan but in the bay area, there isn't a lot of variety. a lot of women who do get their nails done tend to have a similar style but there are very minimal details that set each set of nails apart.

uh..uh-oh..my laptop is about to die and i'm way to lazy to get my charger..although. well..thank god for audition, at least i can type a little bit faster. i've seen most of the tokyo kawaii tv episodes at least once but i just love to re-watch them for a variety of reasons. whether it be for inspiration, nothing better to watch, for ideas for some of my pieces of work, or just to get an idea how to properly do a specific project. the only problem is that every episode i have seen has been in japanese with no subtitles. the good thing is that i took one semester of japanese my freshman year in college. and i can understand some things but not a lot. so i can only understand the basic things they talk about in the episodes. and beni arashiro and mr.ikki are the hosts of the show. in fact watching tokyo kawaii tv always puts a smile on my face.

i also found out that my cousin from l.a. is coming up to the bay to stay with me for a few days. i haven't seen him since i was about 8,i think. oh and today is Kage Tenshi's birthday! woot woot! 二十歳!二十歳!for those who don't read japanese, this is the coming of age. my birthday on the other hand is..still a little while away...the end of july..not really the end of july..but near it. close enough. oh and i got a present from my aunt in new york, she got me a waltham watch, it looks kind of dated but it is the thought that counts. and it is an early birthday present so woo-hoo!. well i want to get back to watching my nails of tokyo kawaii tv video. bye.^^

later<3

edit: i can't help but look at the title and immediately think of the first words of the snl skit.
"lazy sunday
wake up, late afternoon..."
that's all i remember for now..night.^^
