Calling your balderdash double-standards. . . .!
Speaking of Homosexuality--
Since our country is slowly (and accelerating to a faster rate every day) drifting away from the foundation of God setting the rules because He knows what He's talking about, it is becoming increasingly difficult to maintain laws that are filtered through the Word of God, and the idea that the Lord should influence every choice that we, as a country, make.

In light of this, I presently cannot express an indubitable opinion about same-sex marriage.
We can argue about how it is defined as a man and a woman, or we could talk about how homosexuality has been a major part of great empires crumbling from the inside out; we can discuss these nuances of right and wrong forever, but it won't help anything.

Since we are no longer a God-fearing country (I perceive no reason to not simply state this outright, since it is true, and becoming truer all the time) we can no longer use the Bible to make an argument.
I cannot say, "Well, Thus Sayeth the Lord, and therefore--"
The argument means NOTHING to the atheist or the Buddhist or the, now, Catholic. (Catholics are always changing their beliefs, consequently disqualifying them from being true. That should be axiomatic and irrevocable, though I know that some bleeding-heart is going to whine about it, anyway)

All of these things notwithstanding, I CAN explain why homosexuality is morally wrong.
When I say, 'wrong,' I am referring to true, God-given morals, not THIS flimsy definition:

Morals: Standards of right and wrong that a person sets for himself.

That definition means nothing. Why, you ask? Because. It doesn't. Think about it for just one minute.
If I just arbitrarily decided that murdering babies (born ones, not unborn, since that is only morally shaky to most people, and I wanna use something that we can all agree is. . . pretty much evil) is not wrong, based upon my morals, then good for me, and to put me in prison for acting out my own religious beliefs is 'mean'.

That's stupid, and meaningless. Morals have to come from reason, a higher power.
For me, that higher power is (pardon my dogmatism) the One True God.

Therefore, based upon guiding principals instigated by the Father, homosexuality is wrong.

And for those people who try to prove that homosexuality is O.K. according to the Bible, I have this to say: In the New Testament (that is, after the old laws have been abolished) it is RESTATED that homosexuality is wrong, so you cannot use that argument, but even if you did not; who cares?

Most of you do not BELIEVE in the Bible, so why are you attempting to justify it by that which you do not have any faith in?

That is like me trying to explain to a Muslim why I don't commit suicide via exploding myself in a school-bus filled with small children by pointing out discrepancies in his holy book of choice. (Note: there are no discrepancies in the Bible, though I invite you to show me the several stock (and false) incongruities that have been debunked time and again)

I don't believe in the Muslim god, nor in his book, so I have no reason to justify myself using it.
I justify it by using the real Bible. (You'll notice that I'm not afraid to be adamant about my God's reality, and other gods lack thereof.)

"Alright," you think, "so there is no need for me to justify myself by the Bible, but I feel better when I have some kind of evidence for my side."

Well, first let us disregard all 'scientific' studies, since they are generally dubious, at best. There is no 'gene' or chemical that 'causes' someone to be a homosexuality. (If there was, then it would be impossible to STOP being a homosexual, and then living a happy life free of it. This is a moral choice, not something preordained by nature)

The problem with homosexuality is that it is not justifiable, period. You cannot use evolution, because evolution would NOT develop something that stunts procreation; that would be counterproductive.
So without God AT ALL, with no deity, you still have the problem of nature.
Natural selection and macroevolution and genetic mutations would not ultimately choose homosexuality for continued existence.
It arrests evolution altogether and hinders the continued existence of the human race.

And even if a man could decide on a whim that the prostate is for sex because it feels good, what about women?
They have NOTHING. Sure, they could stick a finger, or rub, but so can a man.

Allow me to say one thing: You can do what ever you want. I am not insulting lesbians or homosexuals in general.
All I am doing is putting forth a general truth: You cannot 'justify' homosexuality. You can just DO it, and that is fine. What you do in your room is your problem and/or your right.

You cannot say that it is 'right,' since according to atheism, nothing is right or wrong. You cannot say that it is 'natural' since evolution (and God) dictate that it is not 'natural' in any fashion.

People will continue, however; to 'justify' it to themselves and people around them. Why? Because there is an inherent 'this is wrong--' that comes with homosexuality.
If you have to justify it to yourself, then it is not right.

Also, I noticed that Christians (not Catholics) are called 'sheep' because they are against homosexuality and try to force their opinions on other people.

Yet when someone gently states his own opinion, carefully separating it from other people's, he is LAMBASTED, defamed and insulted.
Thank you, homosexual advocates; you are such an inspiration to boorish cretins, everywhere.
Spread the love, diversity and free choice.

As you consider it wrong to lambaste homosexuals, so should you consider it wrong for homosexuals (and their advocates) to lambaste those who would quietly express a disinclination toward agreeing with POPULAR OPINION.
Since when does most of this world know ANYTHING about refraining from being mindless, trend-following zombies, anyway?

And one last thing:

Someone on Youtube said that in the Bible, God calls His followers 'sheep,' and the guy on Youtube was elated at his brilliance in realizing this revelation.

The fact is, you either believe in something, or you believe in nothing, and if you believe in something, you grab hold of it with everything you have and don't let go, regardless of the blasting you might receive for it.
If you are not a sheep, a slave to your absolute convictions, then you are just a directionless monkey, which -- is apparently not supposed to be a bad thing.
