My thoughts: This is true to some degree. There are some things in life that we can't control. Things we wish we could stop and say not now, but they aren't going to stop. Sure we can run away, pretend like everything's okay and go from there. The problem with that is eventually the clouds and the rain are going to catch up with you. So what can you do? Learn to live with the rain in life, learn to see every bad thing as something that can be good. Now not every bad thing can be good so don't think I'm saying that. But there are certain things that aren't the end of the world. You fight with your friend, it's not the end of the world. And it's like the rain, you really can't stop that. You're going to fight sometimes, it's what friends do. But if you let that stop you or are negative about it it's not going to help anything. Instead you need to be optimistic and say "They're my friend, we can work this out." And go from there. If you just try to stop the fight it's like stopping the rain, impossible and bound to catch up with you.
The same works for fate I think. We can't stop fate from happening. Some people might not believe in fate and that's okay. But I do, I can't help it. There are some things that happen that just can't be explained by luck or coincidence, like the guy I like ending up in one of my classes every year for four years when a bunch of my friends end up in one of my classes in maybe one year. That to me can't be explained by luck. But that's a tangent, so back to what I was saying. Fate is like the rain, it's going to fall when it wants to. You can't stop it, you can curse it all you want but that doesn't make the rain stop falling. Instead what you have to do is learn to dance in the rain, learn to be happy when the world wants you to be sad. It's okay to be sad sometimes, but not all the time. So learn to dance in the rain, and enjoy the sun while it lasts.

As for rain, I figure the best thing to do when it's raining is to put on water proof shoes and dance in it.
