Growth in God
Basically charting my growth in God
Day 14: Old Testiment Fast
Sorry i haven't had one in awhile my mom has been on the computer a lot doing homework, BUT i will push it the days i missed to the end(in other words added days).

Now onto other subjects at hand. What I have learned today, I guess I have always known, just never thought about. Thats waiting and clearing your mind. Take for example when you get angy because your friend did something, what you should do is, not necissarisly wait till the anger subsides, but clear your mind from thoughts that sometimes sprout out by anger and think things through logically. Like today I have learned one of my friends have done something horrible, that i absolutely, and I mean ABSOLUTELY HATE! Actually TWO things, one he two timed a girl, and for those who don't know he went out with two girls at one time, or aka CHEATING. I apsolutely hate cheaters....HATE THEM HATE THEM HATE THEM, or at least hate the act. Not only that but he also did things of a sexual nature with one of them, which again is completely 100% wrong, unless of course you are married, which they are not. Now my first reaction, I got up and started practicing my high kicks, jabs, and grabs to fight him, but when I thought about it, I figured the best thing is this 'help him'. What he did is an obvious sign of one depression, two loneliness. In other words he literally needs a friend their for him. Had I not thought logically I would have only harmed him more.

Now lets deal with confusion. When your confused you can't think through any situation, you just end up messing up. The key here is to take a seat and 'stop thinking' just stop. It is a lot easier to straighten things out once you have taken everything out, with it still in there it doubles the time it would have originally taken. Now with this I can not give you any situation of confusion I have had BUT I can use a similar situation that has happened just recently, and thats 'replacing furniture'. My mother had bought a new couch and we needed to get it in, and to do so we had to 'remove' the old one. Now i know this isn't exact becuase this is not moving things but keeping them in the same area this is completely removing one thing to put in something new. But the concept is the same, it is to make room to more easily put the new in, and with the old out the new was easier to move into position, because there was more room, had we decided to keep the other couch in the room putting the new in would have been a much more difficult situation. So stop thinking to get everything straightened out.

Now I know this, at first glance, has nothing to do with God, but if you think about it, it has to do with serving God. As it says in the bible, 'serving others is serving Christ.' and after awhile of serving someone you learn more and more about them.
