I have come to realize that I was and never have been cool.
In Kindergarten, I was the smartest in my class. I could read so well my teacher wanted me to read to the principal. I had two friends, this girl named Lily who had no friends, and this really shy girl named Sabrina. First grade was even better. I was once again the smartest in my class, and apparently I drew the best Dinosaurs, I was better then the guys. I once again had two friends, but the whole class loved me. I guess I was a lovable nerd. Then I changed schools in the middle of the first grade, and it went down hill from there.
At my new school, I made two friends. One who was a a rather manly girl who shoved me around a lot, and the other was Sadie. I felt weird because I was the only lefty in my class. I apparently wrote very well. And my drawings were praised.
I called Sadie a goody-two-shoes on the playground, and now I only had one friend.
Second grade rolled around, then third. I had no friends, then I gained Savannah and Emma. Third grade was pretty cool. I was a a muthafukin' champ at spelling tests, and once again everyone thought my drawings were boss.
Fourth grade I was still at two friends.
Fifth grade, still at two friends, still the shy girl who drew cats all day.
Sixth grade I went through a goth phase, and I was entered into the gifted program. Dear lord. I had like, four friends. I still drew a lot.
Seventh grade I had a boyfriend. And my friends grew, but I never really like them. I started to draw Anime. I became popular with the dorks. Oh golly gee. Then I dropped a few, and I got out of Anime.
Now I don't want many friends, I have about three I can actually call real friends. The others are just people in my life who just like to follow me around.
I play the guitar, I love MCR, I paint, I like being alone.
I don't think I'll ever be cool.
But then again, I never want to be cool.
