"What is a Father?"

What's a father?
He's the man that wakes up earlier than you so he can finish off thee coffe you've made the night before.
He's the one who towers over over as he walks by,
The one who demands respect.
When he's sad or angry the whole house knows.
And he's the one who pulls out a shotgun to answer the door when his daughter's boyfriend comes to visit.
He's also the only one who his son dares not defy.

Aside from all those things fathers go way back to the start of time.
If they've lasted this long we've obviously done something right.
But a father, in truth, is one who cares, one shares; knowledge of years, the wall you can lean on, a voice of reason through out the years.
He loves, he cares, he's always there if a hug is required or a problem needs solving.
Your father means well no matter what he says and rember....
they'll always have a place in our hearts....
