you were my friend and you let it show
you were through thick and thin times
you're the definition of a best friend
so i smile and simply say thank you
thank you for the laughter and tears
thanks for being here all these years
thanks for loving me and not judging me
for keeping my secrets, my every word
and healing me whenever i got hurt
once again, i say thank you
thank you for even the simplest things that you did
concealed feelings
crumbled papers of poems about you
written with words
that will never come true
written in ink that will never fade away
that hopeful words
i wish i could say
hands still shaking as i continue to write
scribbled letters of black and white
eager to tell you how i feel
wishing i could prove my love is real!
two hands to hold onto forever
two arms to be embraced by eternally
two eyes to gaze into far always

two souls fused by commitments
two names written in the stars above
two lives interwined by god
two hearts joined by the purest of love
the red rose whispers of passion
the cream rose rose is a falcon
the white rose is a dove
but i send you a cream-white white
rosebud with a flush on its petal tips
for the the love that is purest and sweetest
has a kiss of desire on the lips.... 1 <3 you!...
when i saw you
i knew i liked you,
when i met you
i knew i loved you

when you asked me out
i had no doubt
that you were the one for me
when i am with you
i feel the happiest i could ever be

but when you leave
i just lay down and day dream...
think about how it would seem

if i would just open up to you
and let you know how i feel about us two
i know the words i wanna say... haven't quite come out
but i just want you to know that they are there.

but deep down inside i know
i will get the courage to tell you
i don't wanna ever let you go
