Jacqueline tucked a piece of her stray blonde hair behind her ear as she walked down a paved side street. Her cream colored skirt moved to the rhythm of her even steps as she continued on her way down the path. She paused for a moment as she readjusted the dark brown leather bag that held the supplies that her new captain had requested she bring back from the market. She let out a small sigh as she continued down the cobbled pathway. Jacqueline reemerged from the ally way, and out into the bustling city port. The usual salty smell of the ocean mixed with the grim of the city hit her as she walked through the large port. She couldn’t help but observe the many people around her. There were children laughing, tattered beggars, burly men, and everyone in between. Her eyes danced around the crowd for a minute longer before she made her way past the masses of people, and headed for the Le Gardien de L'âme. She turned the corner, and entered a much more peaceful part of the port.
