The cold hardness of the cement beneath me told me where i was, the breeze reminding me that i was in little more than a singlet and shorts. Leaning back, the cool hardness of the bricks seemed a support beam in hindsight, the pillar of strength that held me up in an hour of need...no...an hour or pain.
The star speckled space seemed endless and bountiful, a land where no man, woman or child may touch, nothing but a beautiful temptation dangling out of reach, a carrot for a hungry donkey.
it took me a short time to come to terms with the blurriness shrouding my vision, the bright lights taking on a smeared look that marred the beauty of the sky, yet managed to somewhat improve the glittering lights.
