Noir: Chapter 1 Part 2
As the unknown sillouhete approached, his appearnce lit up from the candlelight. Dressed rather elegantly in a full tux, the man had short pale blond hair handsomly falling down against his ivory skin, he walked in a way that could have only been acheieved through years of social experience. Everything about the man was beautiful, except for the sickening blood stains that almost completely covered his designer clothes.
The stranger lifted his hand to wipe away the blood dripping down his chin, switftly flicking the speckles onto the ground in a elegant motion. In his other hand he carried a purple silk bag with a weaved golden cord knotted tightly. And from it there was a trickled of liquid seeping through leaving behind a small trail as he walked. He didn't make any move to show that he cared of their presence.
that is.... Len's eyes locked with Louis and he nooded in agrrement to what Len was thinking. A trophy of his kill.
' So, what brings such a fine gentlemen out so late at night?' Louis asked through gritted teeth, stepping forward to stand in front of Len. ' you look like you're lost old man. '
The man looked up, his hazel eyes gleamed with a hidden laughter. He opened his blood stained mouth and smiled wickedly.
' My,my, what are you young boys doing out so late tonight? ' He drawled in his heavy french accent. ' It's way past your bedtime, or did you come to find me for a bedtime story? '
' Well, isn't it also way past the time to be taking a midnight snack? ' Louis replied bitterly. ' Is that something you're taking home for later? You do know that there is a violation for feeding off the humans like this. '
The man didn't even flinch as his emerald eyes wrinkeld curiously as he smiled innocently.
' Oh? So is this all that it is about? ' He lifted the soaked bag higher and tossed it to the ground between them with a chuckle. ' There you can have it, think of it as a heartwarming gift from me.
The bag hit the ground with a sickening sound, forming an unnatural lump on the floor. The red liquid seeped out into a scarlet puddle on the cobble pathway.
' Sorry, but I really don't have a taste for them. ' The crimson eyed boy laughed, reaching into his pocket pulling out a long silver gun. ' So are you ready to give it up too? '
' not really. ' The older man smirked in amusement. ' has the Council got so desperate as to be sending children out to do their dirty work now? '
' children? ' A smile tugged on the end of Louis's mouth. ' I've seen to much of this world to be a child anymore. We are the new age of Noir. '
A light seemed to flicker behind the man's hazel eyes as a knowing lock dawned on his face.
' So you are his legacy? He would have been rather dissapointed in you knowing that you're being used as pawn by the Council. '
Flinching at the mention of that, he glared down at the stranger. ' how do you know that? '
The older man didn't say anything else except smile even wider.
' Tell me how you knew that! ' Louis shouted, his fists shaking. ' How did you know my brother?! '
Len put a concerned hand on his shoulder, but Louis shook it of violently and remained glaring at the man with pure hatred.
' How dare a scumbag like you mention him?! ' He continued to scream in fustration. ' What do you know?!!! '
Amused by Louis's response the man took another step closer, closing the distance between the two groups.
' Of course I have meet the young king. Such a shame about what happened to him though. ' He drawled, reaching into his pocket and pulling out a pair of silk gloves carefully pulling them. ' But what ever happend to the young queen? '
' Chandlier le Feir.. ' He mummered, Louis's eyes blazed a dangerous color and he lifted his gun to aim it directly into Chandlier's face. ' By the deaths of my comrades and the breach of law, the Council has sentenced you to death. '
As soon as those words left his mouth, his finger squeezed the trigger.
