As I lie here, shivering in the dark.

Air wrapped around me, holding me tight.

and wonder what it is you do this starborn night

where the sky and earth dance in the meadow true.

The calling does rise to bleed the sky of blue.

and the warmth of the earth retreats another day.

When the stars come out, to sing, and to play.

and I wonder what you would do

if you were here with me

to lie among the trees

and think of better days

when the moon would rise in the sky

on this beautiful cold night

and shower us in silver

To deliver us in light.

and as the whispers go

so long as you would know

that i am there with you

untill the sun breaks in view

shattering the moon in our blessed sky

but no sooner would I leave you, than sooner would I die.
