Yesterday, my dog Sally died.
She and Roxy, another one of my dogs, got into a fight right after we left to walk to the store. The neighbor's son was the first to find them fighting. The police were called. Neither my mom nor I had our cellphones at the time. Once we got home, my dad showed up and my parents took Sally to the vet.
The vet told them that she probably wouldn't be able to walk again if we let her live. She was in a lot of pain, even while on morphine, so they decided to put her to sleep.
