10.The domino effect
I’ve learned from a friend that you truthfully can’t change people, and that they have to change themselves, but there’s a reason for everything. The world, as I’ve studied and seen is a big domino effect, molding others, changing others and making a person who they are. But you just have to love. If someone hurts you, give them a second chance unless they are truly doing something really bad, but all you can do, as I’ve said, is show them paths, but they have to make their own footprints.
I hate the feeling I get around some, where you wish you could help them be happy, and help them not to feel so empty, but some are just so blind and wrapped up in the world, that they just don’t even want to try, or don’t even give the time to truly have or learn unconditional love.
I truly believe that everything in life is a domino effect though, and it’s just so God can teach those few people that want to learn to see the world in a more open minded way. Everything happens, even some simple things to protect us. I’ve paid attention. When something I don’t like happens to me, I don’t know why, and I’d get upset, but then in the long run, I see God’s reasons. He’s either protecting me from something, or he’s helping someone get closer to him by using those moments, or to open my mind or someone else’s mind wider. It’s truly funny to see God work in someone else’s life, and they not know it. I truly laugh about that. It’s almost as if I can see his little angels making words come through someone’s mouth or an event they guide them through to try to get their attention. But they don’t know how to see it, and I can. If you truly watch the world around you, not in the human mind’s way, but the open think-about-everything mind’s way, you can see so much more about what’s going on. I can almost see angels working in people’s lives, trying to get their attention. They just don’t know how to though, they are very closed minded and only think on a one-way basis.
