We are meaningless people
Living in a meaningless world
We are like ants on this rock
Ants that aren’t needed
Meaningless covers this world
Its covers are heart
The closes thing to our souls
It eats a hole in us
A hole that makes us sad inside
We look for something to fill it
We look for it in others
And others look for it in us
But the hole gets bigger and bigger
We ask ourselves
How do we fill it
How do I find happiness
We never find true happiness
It finds us
So until then we hope
And we pray
That we can stay alive until it comes
The thing that makes happiness
The thing that fills the hole
And takes away the sadness
