From the slightly delusional mind of Megan...
Molly
User ImageMolly walked down the empty hallway of her newest boarding school. The sound of her light footsteps echoed down the corridor. She jumped slightly as one of the doors slammed shut behind her, and a tall blonde lady wearing a gray skirt stepped out and began walking the other way down the hall. Molly watched her until she disappeared around the corner. She stared down the empty corridor for a minute before turning around and continued her search for her class. Molly hurried toward the last door on the left; the one she hoped to be her class.

Molly slowed as she neared the door, hesitant to look at the room number. She raised her eyes slowly and read the large white numbers above the large wooden door; Room 304. Molly groaned and put her hand across her forehead. She was looking for room 305. She turned in a slow circle, checking to make sure she hadn’t missed the classroom. Molly zipped up her jacket and stuffed her hands in her pockets as she turned around and started back up the corridor. She hated winter, it was too cold.

As Molly strolled up the hallway a loud bell rang and students poured out of the classrooms. She shuffled down the hall, trying to blend in with the others. The corridors soon became empty again as the students entered their classrooms. Molly took the opportunity to resume her search for room 305. Only a few students milled around in the hallway, laughing and shouting. Molly quietly slipped past them and into the next hall. She walked up and down the passageway twice to find that room 305 was nowhere to be found.

Molly sighed and leaned against the cold, stone wall. She sighed and slid down the wall until she was sitting on the hard floor. Molly rested her head in her hands and cringed as her cold fingertips rested against her cheeks. She took a deep breath and closed her eyes. Molly planned to sit here until the class was over. Hopefully, she’d have more luck finding her next one.

Molly shivered slightly and pulled her small blue backpack up against her right side. She shivered again as she pulled her hood over her face and stuffed her hands back into her jacket pockets. “I hate moving” she mumbled to herself as her long hair fell over her shoulders. “and I hate boarding schools.” Molly leaned her head back to glare at the tall ceiling. “I hate this school” she whispered as she let her head droop down and rest on her knees.
