Random Rant: First Day of School
Welp...back to the old grind. Yep, its time for school to start...Im not mad about it, just that...I wouldnt mind another week off! I finally have some classes with my best friends! And for some reason, Im the only girl in my Animation class. My 1st day teachers are really nice and funny, so I cant wait for the 2nd day. But one thing gets on my nerves, THE NEW SCHOOL TIME! I have to be in school by 8:20 instead of 7:45! That might be exciting for some people but now, I dont get out until 3:09! Id rather wake up early and get out early rather than getting in later and getting out later! And besides, the district really didnt think this through! Afterschool kids wont get home til 5, 6 or sometimes 7:00! And some families depend on older kids getting home early to pick up younger siblings from the bus stop, but now the younger kids are getting out earlier than the older kids which is a huge problem! Although I think they might change the time when they realize how much of a problem this is causing.
