THe sky was dark, and the clouds were moving in blocking the moon. DARKNESS everywhere. The sound of hoofbeats filled the air, the wind whistled furiously the horses moved past, their midnight black manes blew around in the wind. The riders of these horses looked deader than the dead themselves. They were pale white, like the moon, and had no eyes..yet oddly enough they saw EVERYTHING. They're black cloaks flowed behindthem as the rode, like water in a stream. " They're close by.." These creatures are known as fades, awful sounding huh?
The others nodded their head and rode off towards an open feild where they knew there enemy was hiding.
The person that they were chasing was a girl known better as " Nakari, or" kari" as her friend, "Rand" called her. But little did she know that her dear friend had already faced the Fades and died fighting...
"Stupid Rand! " Nakair yelled, she turned around and saw the fades were on her tail. She cursed her horse that had run off durning the last battle she had faced with the Fades. There was no way in hell that she could out-run all of those Fades ..not on foot anyway. She stopped. " This is stupid, why should I run? I'll take out all these Fades and then Rand will be sorry for missing out on all the fun!" She ran towards the group of Fades her bow a drawn and an arrow already aimed at her enemy.
The Fades charged, they all went for her at once. The battle lasted for nearly an hour, luck was with Nakari as he killed off the last 2 in her way with one arrow. " Heh..easy as..s**t!" She turned around and saw another few comign towards her, thye lept from their horses and down upon her. They drew her blood and painted the ground red.
"DAMN YOU ALLTO HELL!!!!!!!!!!" Nakari shouted as she tried to knock them away ..but it was too late.
ALl was gone.
