Shrouded in black, the mysterious bird creeps to the edge of the sky. It peeps down at the world beneath its feet, shivering a little. A flutter of wings reveals a glowing orange light as it plummets to the ground below, announcing the arrival of dawn. I sit by and drink a cup of black coffee.

Hyperventilates Soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo, I got a call from the director today. I didn't get Mike Teavee. But I DID get Mrs. Salt! (Veruca's mom) It's originally Mr, but there aren't enough boys. So I got cast as Veruca's mom! I've been double-cast. The girl I'm sharing with can't be there three nights, so I'm filling in for her. That means I get to play her half the shows and she gets to play her the other half. While I am a little disappointed, I'm glad I still got a supporting role. It's my best role yet! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! And I watched I Am Legend with my dad today. It was soooooo sad. It's going on my list of favorites though.

Congratulations! That's really good news. I know what it's like to be accepted (kinda) for something that you really wanted, so I know how exciting it is. Happy times. It's not the part you originally wanted, but still it's something! Gotta start somewhere, right?

Is this for some local theater or something? I don't believe I ever caught who was actually putting this play on.

I liked and disliked I Am Legend. The interactions with his dog and the mannequins were very interesting, as well as his attempt to research a cure for the virus. It's when the other two people showed up that I felt it started going downhill. Plus, the idea of an alpha male infected seemed lame to me. The ending itself was cringe inducing it was so bad, in my opinion. It could have been amazing, but took a turn for the worse. Overall I felt it was a pretty good movie though. From what I've heard, the film is drastically different from the novel, so I might give that a read sometime.
