My Random Vampire Thoughts
Here is a brief description. Random. Vampire. Thoughts. Get it? Got it? Good.
The Four Business Men
The setting matters only for detail, a small office filled with the tension of considerably bored men sitting at an even smaller round table. The colors being as bland as a desk job could ever be, with splashes of grey, white, and black was thrown about the room. Four males sat at the table, each having their own division within the company they were about to speak for. The company, it's name not important yet called "Allitemz Inc." had an annual get together from all three divisions and then the head of the corporation itself, to deal with what was thought to be the 'weaker links'. So. Here is the story.

The first man, being in charge of the houseware and anything dealing with appliances and such was named Matthew. "Well. We all know why we're here, so let's just get this stupid thing over with." The words uttered in annoyance from the weasly man, his fingers wrapping together to move about as if a maniacal dictator sat in the room. The second man, his division being in grocery smiled sarcastically to Matthew, this male being named Anderson. "You do realize, you haven't changed a bit! But, that's just another thing why the Boss keeps you around." Anderson chuckled in a wheezy breathless sort of way, most knowing the intentions this man had, being to take over the business. From the mention of his self, the head of the corporation turned to Anderson, a smug expression about his face. "Well, that and seeing you two bicker gives me something to have a few shits and giggles. But men, we're here for business, not pleasure." The head was called Kevin. The fourth man, well-built as well as quiet, straightened in his seat to turn his attention to the boss. The male's name was Abel. His division was to look after all the workers, so more so of looking after hard-labor. No words passed through his lips, merely a drawn-tight expression to show how he felt.

"Well! First, let's start with you Andy, who would you say needs to be gotten rid of?" Kevin's expression turned to a grin. That's what the meeting was about. To get rid of and fire all who were thought to be 'weak'. "Hey hey, I say in my division, we get rid of Kelly and Ashlyn. Their both so whiney and don't concentrate on their work. It's..sad really. Kelly keeps saying her kids is why she is late, but I don't think so! And Ashlyn..ugh. She goes on and on about that little baby she had. Do you know she wanted a week off after she had it? Haha!" Anderson nodded vigorously, a sneer plastered onto his face. Kevin's face turned stoic at the words his associate had just spoken, knowing he had to get rid of whoever was said. "Alright...done then. Matthew?" Matthew gave a simple thumbs up, getting ready to tell who he wished to be fired. "Alright, I want Cathleen, Mike, Alex, and the new boy Quintano out. They're coming in here tired and mess. I just can't have it. They say they'll pull their act together but it doesn't like that will happen. Period." Little did the man realize the people had other jobs they were working as well. Kevin sighed, jotting down the new names on a crisp paper holding the other names. "Done. Now lastly...Abel?"

Abel had sat quietly, disbelief shifting through his eyes at the other two men. He was the only one who knew what the reasons were for the people who were just called out. Minutes went by, the three men focused on him waiting expectantly. "Well..? What's taking you so long to say? Let's get this over with already!" Sighing once again, Matthew glared at Abel as if he were a stupid insect he could squash at any moment. Eyes looking back to Matthew, the man finally spoke. "For one, I've been thinking of how this will effect the families my workers have. Two, how little they're being payed to support them by how you two think should be given. Do you not realize, you fire one, there are others who are effected?" Silence started after this, Matthew and Anderson downcasted their faces in shame to the words. Kevin, swelling with pride straightened up like Abel had before, raising both of his hands to clap. "Thank you. That is why you're having my position whenever it is time for me to leave." Shock brought the proud look to Kevin's face to hit home to Anderson and Matthew, realization to this one thing making a mockery of all the two had hoped for. "What did he do!?" The two men cried out in unison and defiance. "He considered the workers first while you two considered your piggy banks."
