Okay so I was watching X-men Origins, Wolverine and Now I have to do a "mutant" type thing.

Theres this family. Totally normal, and then they have a kid whos name is Vincent Vahn Krozs (Pronounced Cross) but something is really wrong with him... He's got all these bumps on his back, but the doctors say "oh its a rare condition, hes fine. It should go away in a few years"

His 5th birthday, and the bumps are still there.. they seem to have gotten worse. Throughout the years they just keep getting worse. They keep taking him to the hospital and he keeps getting really painful shots and gets his blood drawn alot. The whole process hurts so much.
The procedures keep the bumps gone for awhile, and he has to keep going back until the bumps go away for good.

Soon he's 11 years old. Sick of the treatments, he starts telling his parents there aren't bumps anymore. They keep getting worse though. Soon the bumps turn into spikes. Little spikes of bone sticking out his back. He trys to cut them off, leaving a bloody mess everywhere. His parents never find out. Their too busy with their jobs.

He's 16 now. His choice of clothes are loose enough that you can't tell the bones are sticking out. He's had to change schools all the time because ppl keep finding out about the bones and freaking out. Most of the time its a girlfriend who wrapped her arms around him. Vincent is a total loner for awhile after that until he finds out that there's a girl whos into the Occult and all things dark and creepy.

He befriends this girl, Layla, in a short time. He still does not tell her of the bones, and for the longest time she is unaware. Until they have a big test in school. They both pass with flying colors and Layla runs up and says "We made it!" and jumps in for a hug. Vince jumps back to save himself, and runs into another kid. The bones are sharp enough to penetrate the kid. They arent long enough to kill him, but now the bones are sticking thorough the graduation gown and everyone is staring. Turns out, for the entire transformation, anothers blood had to be on the bones.

Vincent falls to the ground in agony and the bones shoot out longer and longer, and unfold into skeleton wings which then, a a fiery burst, grow midnight black feathers. The kids who see it scream and run away, thinking he's an Angel of Death. Including Layla.

When he returns home, his parents are up against the wall beacuse they are so afraid of him. There is a man who appears out of nowhere and takes Vince to a place where there are others like him (mutant school! lol) There, he's accepted. Especially by a Blake (Temp name: may be changed later), a girl who's speaical mutation is water and Ice.

Before long, Vincent's powers evolve more, and he begins to be capable of more than simple flight. HE gains control over Fire and darkness. This is where he starts to become rejected aggain. He begins to feel as if he doesnt belong anywhere. Blake trys more and more to help him to feed the lighter side of his soul. However a mysterious student also has his eyes on Vince......

Which side will he choose? The Light of Purity?

...Or Darkness?
