I'm back from my fabulous week at Florida blaugh Yes, it was indeed fabulous 3nodding We left on Saturday, January 7th at 9:30 in the morning to get to the airport. After we got through all the security bullshit ( rofl ) then we were finally able to board the plane. I've never been on a plane before eek It was really kool! Because I live in New Jersey, it was about a 2 hour flight to get to Florida. By this point in the trip, my dad went through about a pack of cigarretes rolleyes Silly guy...he's really gotta cut down a tad sweatdrop
Our place we stayed at was a fancy resort thing...and it was so nice blaugh I got my own room with a king size bed...a shower...a bathtub...and my very own toilet xp Plus, it had a TV in there too mrgreen On Sunday, we went to see my Great Grandma, who I've only talked to on the phone, and seen a few pictures of her. So, it was really bizarre meeting her actually. We went to a moseleum...which is really not how you spell it, but i'm too lazy to look it up XD It's a place where you have urns and caskets in the wall of people who have died. It wasn't really a happy place sweatdrop We spent a few hours with her and then drove back to our resort in Orlando. It took three hours to get to her, because she lives in Pompano...and then three hours back stressed
On Monday, we STILL didn't do anything really kool eek We mostly hung around the resort...and checked out the stuff they had to do there. They had all kinds of kool stuff...like vollyball (which I didn't get to play damn it stressed ) and jetskiing...($100 an hour just to rent one...it's criminal...so I didn't get to do that either) Come to think of it...the only thing I DID do was fish XD My dad took me and Mary out fishing...but we didn't catch anything *cries* They damned fish kept eating my worm. I think Sillyhead (my dad) was getting annoyed with me because I will NOT bait my own hook...I hate worms eek
On Tuesday, we went to Disney World!! *dances* The koolest part of Disney World was the castle mrgreen I have pictures on a camera of it, but I'll post them in a later journal entry. There was a super annoying ride about "It's a Small World" I'm sure someone knows what I'm talking about eek It was that annoying song that got stuck in your head for the rest of the day and you had to keep singing it over and over until Melissa got really mad at you and yelled at you in the middle of the park!!! sweatdrop Uh...nevermind...XD I don't really remember what else we did there however sweatdrop Give me a break...it was 5 days ago for Christ sakes XD I do remember the fireworks at the end...they were...unbelievable eek It was the prettiest show I've ever seen!!
Then, on Wednesday...we went to Epcot. Epcot is another branch of Disney, kinda. I thought Epcot was kinda boring actually...but my mom and Melissa seemed to enjoy it, so I decided not to voice my opinion on this one XD There was a lot of stuff from around the World. We got Chinese food for lunch over at China. There's not much to say about Epcot. They had another show at the end of everything though mrgreen It was a light show...with fireworks!! I just love fireworks XD
We had a 3 day pass to Disney, so on Thursday we ended with Disney's MGM studios. There was a hella kool rollar coaster called something like..."Rockin' Rollar Coaster." It was staring Aerosmith. I took Melissa and Mary on it 3nodding It's a rollar coaster in the dark...and there's three loops and I think a corkscrew. Plus, it went from nothing to 60 mph in 2 seconds 4laugh That was the best part of the studios mrgreen
Yesterday, we went to Universal Studios!! Unfortunately, we didn't get to do the Adventure Park, which was filled with rollar coasters eek We went on tons of visual rides, like the 3D things. The first thing we went on was Shrek 4D XD lol They had this part where spiders appeared on the screen...and then under your seats, something brushed against your legs that felt like tons of spiders eek I also hate spiders too XD That almost made me scream...or jump up...or SOMETHING, but I managed to stay in my seat. My dad was laughing at me though, because he knows I hate spiders sweatdrop
Today...*sigh*...we had to leave *cries* I didn't really want to go back to New Jersey. After spending a week in a state with tons of sun and warmth...I'm not really up to going back to rainy cold weather XD My mom woke me up at 4:30 this morning stressed I had to hurry up and get ready, then load the suitcases in the back of our rented van. We dropped off the rental van and hurried over to the airport. We got through all that bullshit security again...and realized our plane was boarding 45 minutes ahead of schedule eek It was supposed to board at 7:30 this morning...instead it boarded at 6:45 stressed We almost missed our flight back home eek We made it...but just barely.
It took an hour and a half for us to drive back home from the airport...so now I'm exhausted. I'll have pictures from our trip in the next journal entry, as soon as we get them developed mrgreen
