POEM:LOVE
Writing our names in the sand, And watching them blow away.
Whispering, Even though there is no one for miles to hear us.
Not daring to whisper those three words, In fear that they might break.
Watching the sun rise, the sun set, The moon rise, the stars shine…
Smiling, and crying, For things that no one else understands, But we know too well.
Rising, so high, Only to crash back down to earth.
Hating each other one second, Loving the next.
Feeling like you have know forever, Not 5 seconds.
Dreaming of what should, could, would be, Then watching it crash down around you.
Wishing you had missed that plane.
Drawing a heart over your fingers, Then splitting your fingers, Try it, you’ll see.
Shivering, trembling, in the summer heat, Feeling hungry but not wanting to eat.
Talking, flirting, getting to know one another.
Staring out of the window, thinking of you.
Listening to songs, that take you back, To the first time you heard them, And once again, breaking your heart.
Me and you, together, forever.
Kissing in the dark. Holding hands under the table. Acting like we are in kindergarten again.
Listening to songs, that take you back, To the first time you heard them, And once again, breaking your heart.
Drawing a heart over your fingers, Then splitting your fingers, Try it, you’ll see.
Kissing in the dark. Holding hands under the table. Acting like we are in kindergarten again
Im not particularly keen on this poem, its a very early one of mine, but id still like your views smile
