roleplay characters and things.
was there ever any doubt? (zacharie, RED spy)
Name: Zacharie Leclair

Nicknames: Zach, typical spy nicknames

Gender: Male

Age: 32

Birthday: January 30th, 1977

Sign: Aquarius

Zodiac: Dragon

Height: 5' 11"

Weight: 179 lbs.

Eye Color:

Hair Color:

Hair Style: About 2 inches long, if a bit longer, and straight dark hair, Zacharie has it combed back usually when it's not under his mask, which rarely ever happens. Short sideburns ending just under his cheekbones.

Skin:

Distinct Features: Zacharie looks young for his age, looking more in his mid to early twenties than his early thirties (earning him the title of Pretty Boy among his spy students, and the affections of most of his female apprentices). Due to this, most people think he's lying about his age. [Reference to his face. And hair. I'm serious.] He has a scar along his jawline, though it's nearly unnoticeable, almost paper thin. He constantly has a cigarette either in his fingers or his mouth, and frequently plays with his lighter or knife as a way to keep his hands busy.

Genealogy: Pure French

Temperament: Polite and patient, Zacharie doesn't enjoy yelling at people. However, he doesn't miss a chance to critique someone, though he means well. He's somewhat of a perfectionist, preferring everything in order. When someone wrongs him, he takes his time getting revenge, preferring it to be plotted and carried out perfectly than to just injure the person.

Sexual Orientation: Bisexual

Bio: Born to a middle-class French family in Carentan, France, this spy wasn't always the quiet and polite boy. He was loud and rambunctious, always a troublemaker and not doing the best in school. Then, one day, when Zacharie was 10, he and his friend were walking down the street. Out of no where, a car appeared, speeding at Zacharie. His best friend, seeing the car, shoved Zacharie out of the way, sacrificing his life for his. The boy stood in shock, watching as the car screeched away and his friend lay on the ground, broken and bleeding. He screamed for help, people rushing to the scene and picking up the broken boy. Zacharie stayed at his friend's side until he passed away hours later, staying silent and merely holding his friend's hand in a comforting grip.

After the incident, Zacharie began withdrawing into himself, focusing more on his studies than anything social. He was blaming himself for his friend's death, even sometimes wishing he had died instead of the boy he had taken for granted. His sisters did the best they could to cheer him up while his parents seem not to notice the transition, though Zacharie pushed them all away. Slowly, his sisters gave up hope of seeing their brother running around again, and let him seep deeper into his ever-growing depression, watching in sadness all the while. Zacharie took to sketching, using it to distract himself from his moods.

When Zacharie was 13, his uncle, a RED spy, came to visit. He noticed Zacharie's sadness and questioned him about it, Zacharie refusing to answer. He took this calmly, and the uncle asked Zacharie's parents for permission to train him, as he observed from the way the boy moved he had inherited the grace and patience to become a spy. The teen's parents approved, and Zacharie was taken from his parents, sent with his uncle to train. Zacharie found himself excelling in the practice, and his uncle began teaching him how to play piano as well. Enjoying both activities, Zacharie began coming out of his depression. His uncle permitted him to visit his family for a week when he was 14, his sisters shocked by the change of mood.

When he was finished his training, at 18, Zacharie applied for the RED team. He was accepted and sent into battle. Spending about 12 years in the field of war, he retired at 30, and has been teaching at the academy ever since. He finds teaching the kids easy, though he occasionally needs to take a break from listening to the pointless gossip and chatter, escaping to his piano for hours at a time.
