I fancy the unknown For it brings a cetain taste Of uncertanity back Before fading with the next gust of Stale air And disappearing again With a shadow's smile and regret's wink Taking away all the responcability Living brings in packed backs And neatly folded edges To the bottoms of newly polished Stones to trip over And cause fall To see if we can rise again From the dust and ashes Of phonxies who forgot How to be reborn From fallen feathers And magic fairy dust charms To the cobwebs of old books Nothing says that what we must do Is what we should do A decision between right and wrong Balances life on the edge of Living and following a path already run down Over and over again By ansestors who forgot to wipe the trail clean So we don't make the same mistakes they did Time repeats itself over and over again Like a broken record Until someone takes it out
